CAVALOR and Versele Nutrition
Under the CAVALOR brand, the animal food group Versele Nutrition markets
horse feeds.
Versele Nutrition has been producing animal food since 1938 and has become a leading international group, always seeking the best quality products, high product technicity, client oriented service and innovation.
So a new production unit for horse feeds and mixtures, responding entirely to GMP-standards (Good Manufacturing Practice) was opened in Deinze in 2004.

The Versele Nutrition animal food group finds its origins in 1932, on the banks of the Lys at Astene (Deinze). It was there that grand father Prudent Versele laid the foundations of the company which now records an annual turnover of some 430 million euros and employs about 900 people.
Beside the CAVALOR horse feeds, Versele Nutrition also produces industrial feedstuff under the QUARTES brand, and also a wide assortment of feed, complementary products, care products and specialties for domestic and hobby animals under the Versele-Laga brand. The latter products are marketed in more than 60 countries.
With the CAVALOR brand, Versele Nutrition has totally concentrated on the feeding of horses and has therefore surrounded itself with a team of specialized experts. In the scientific field, for research and development, we work in close collaboration with Nutriquine. For more than 15 years, this company has devoted itself entirely to the production of CAVALOR food supplements as well as CAVALOR care products for horses and aims at both the professional and at the horse lover.
